The EY-H2 is built for continuous, all-day use so tills and stockrooms stay productive. Its fast CMOS engine and 600dpi optical resolution deliver up to 100 scans/second for quick checkout and inventory tasks.

Reads many code types and screens

This wired 2D scanner reads common 1D and 2D formats including QR, DataMatrix and PDF417, plus EAN/UPC and Code 128. It can also scan barcodes displayed on smartphone screens — increase screen brightness for best results.

Simple setup and rugged design

Plug-and-play over USB with no drivers required — works with Windows, Mac, Android and Linux and common software like Quickbook, Word and Excel. The ergonomic ABS housing resists repeated drops from 1.5 m onto concrete, and the unit includes a long USB cable and user manual. The volume can be muted and the scanner supports custom prefixes/suffixes, character deletion and keyboard key insertion for flexible integration.

Please note: some very small, blurry or dense 2D codes (for example certain PDF417s or tiny government IDs) may not scan reliably. It is not compatible with square POS or Square Register systems.
